: The view and location were excellent. I watched whales while sitting on the lanai which was amazing. The location was so close to everything and it also had a great walking path on the waterfront that one of us was able to use daily.
: The interior of the unit was sad. The dishwasher door was broken and so when we opened the door it fell on my knee and we spent the rest of the week with my inability to do any hiking or extensive walking due to the pain and swelling. The pillows were hard, the headboard to the bed squeaked (we finally moved the mattress away from the wall so we could sleep), the sheets were scratchy, the bed was hard and the top sheet was a smaller size than normal which meant that one of us had a sheet and the other one was without. The lack of ownership pride showed everywhere - even the silk flowers had rusted stems or were missing flowers, the hinges were all rusting, even the coaster holder was rusted, the door handles don't match, the light switches are all different, the three-way light bulbs in the lamps only had one 60 watt bulb so reading was a bit of an issue late at night, the shower mat was disgusting and the shower didn't drain, the floor was obviously cleaned with a chemical that left the floor sticky/slimy and the icemaker wasn't hooked up and the ice trays were only half-filled with old ice. I wasn't expecting a luxury hotel - but I was expecting clean, crisp and serviceable. We did complain to the manager who sent out the maintenance guy to fix the dishwasher door - the new springs he installed worked so well that you had to hold the door down to load the dishwasher and it snapped back up and hit my arm - another injury...this time just a small bruise. We did get extra pillows one of which was soft enough to get better sleep. All in all - overspent for the accommodations but the view was great which was the only real bonus as one of us spent a lot of time just resting with ice on a knee from the dishwasher door!
